Growing old was an old saying because these ladies are growing gold with each other. Britain’s oldest twin turned 102 years recently and this calls for a celebration. The two ladies Phyllis Jones and Irene Crump was born 25 minutes apart from each other in the year 1916. The twin sister is living for over a century and is enjoying every aspect of life to its fullest.

On November 20th, Britain’s oldest twin celebrated their 102nd birthday. Phyllis Jones is 25 minutes older than Irene. They have seen over ten decades and still manages to adust through the ever-changing lifestyles of the modern world. The secret to their longevity is their healthy eating habits and ability to stay stress-fress and happy. Their family celebrated their 102nd Birthday in a simple manner with balloons, cards, and cakes without involving alcohol.

The twins received a birthday card from Queen of England on her 100th birthday and for being Britain’s oldest twin. If they get lucky enough they soon be receiving a second card from the Queen which is supposed to be on their 105th Birthday together.

Despite being 102 years old the twin sisters do not look a day over 70. And nor that they both feel like it. Irene says, “We can’t grasp that we are 102 because we don’t feel it, We got no rheumatism, arthritis, I mean, we’re very lucky in that way.”

Both the sisters live together and take care of each other. Their children pay regular visits to them and do regular check-ins. The smile on their faces is proof that they are very much satisfied with the kind of life that they are living. Their family members are quite proud of them. They are yet to contact the Guinness book of world record for registering them as Britain’s oldest twin but they will be doing it soon.
