From health benefits to good looks, there could be endless reasons as for why someone wants to lose weight. The motivation to stop eating junk and kill those extra pounds is all that you need to move in this direction. Josie Desgrand, an Australian teen got this inspiration from her Instagram feed. Now after losing 198 Lbs, motivated Josie ruling others Instagram feed.
Josie was 279 Lbs at the age of 16, she used to feel bad for her while scrolling and seeing slim and fit models on her Instagram feed. This is not it, even other people bullied her for the same.
After some failed attempts of dieting, one day she made a pact to herself “No longer fat Josie.”
“I took pictures of myself at different angles, excited for my next weight loss journey. I used tape measure and wrote down my dimensions knowing I had a long way to go, but I wanted to track every change, no matter how small,” the Australian teen said.
Giving herself daily challenges she started keeping a check on every single change in her body. Seeing the motivational level of Josie, her father, Mark also joined in. The daughter-father duo gave a tough competition to each other.
Let us tell you that she lost weight without any gym but achieving a toned body, she got enough confidence to take the next step to the gym. “Working out at the gym gave me the extra push to reach my goal weight.”
And finally, the Australian teen lost 198 Lbs and ruling the same Instagram that once made her feel bad and depressed for being overweight. “I shared my meals and progress on my Instagram account @nolongerfatjosie.
“With people from all around the world along for my journey, I never thought about quitting.”
Now having slimmed down to 138 Lbs, she has become an inspiration for others. Her ultimate goal was achieved when she walked in the prom party at her high school and made everyone shocked.
After losing 198 Lbs, presently, the teen is motivating others with her Instagram and writing a book about her experience of being overweight to achieve super sexy body.
