Roskilde festival, an annual festival held in Denmark is Danish music festival. People attend this festival to chill and fell the music vibes. But this photographer, Johanna Siring took it a lot more far. She took pictures of strangers before and after she kissed them. Being a photographer she captured the accurate spirit of life.
She introduced herself to strangers, took their pictures, asked for their consent to kiss them and clicked their pictures immediately after kissing. She also did this with the idea of making new relationships and interacting with strangers. She did this for two consecutive days with the people of different folk, gender, looks and ages.
Siring said, “Kissing sparks all the nerve endings in your lips, causing a release of dopamine and a surge in oxytocin. It’s an instantaneous stress reliever and creates an immediate emotional bond between two people.” She wanted to show how easy it is to connect and communicate with people and so she turned this pictures into a series called ‘Kiss of a Stranger.’ Most amazingly she successfully dropped the idea and thought of connecting to strangers into people’s heart. These shots got viral and people really appreciated her thoughts and ideas.
