In the morning, she doesn’t take breakfast, instead, she drinks a large glass of water with a squeeze of lemon. Then before the workout, she takes some amino acids. Amino acids are basically proteins. “Essentially it is the actual amino acids that build muscle, not the actual food source because the food first needs to be converted into amino acids to create the muscle,” Thomas said.
“If you imagine your body as a freeway system, these amino acids go straight onto the freeway. It’s the quickest way possible for your body to get these nutrients because nothing has to be digested”, he continued.
After this, she takes her morning coffee with a spoon of MCT oil. MCT oil can be found in sources like coconut and a few kinds of butter. Some say it enhances the fat burning process. Right after she haves her pre-workout supplement which is made from beetroot and caffeine.
Then she goes on her workout. After the workout session, Halle Berry treats herself with some real food. She eats chicken or steak with dark green leafy vegetables. And the whole day she keeps eating fruits and veggies. Thomas reveals Halle Berry also likes bone broth and likes to eat it in bed. For dinner, her chef makes her lamb stew and sometimes she alternates it with zucchini noodles.
“She always has lots of cut up veggies around and it’s great because the kids like to snack on that too,” said Thomas. “She likes blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, those are all good on the ketogenic plan.”
