Whenever we hear about Santa Claus, a picture of an aged male in a white beard, red clothes, and red hat comes in our mind. But some people argued on changing this picture. A survey was held in the USA that asked many people about their opinion on how they think Santa Claus should be. The main question was about the gender, that what gender should be of our beloved Santa Claus and the results were quite surprising.
The survey was held among 4000 people in the USA. The data is collected from these people on their views on Santa Claus. About 19% of people argued that Santa Claus should neither be male nor female instead he should be gender neutral. On the other hand, more than 10% of the US population wants Santa Claus to be a female instead of being male. While rest of the population wants Santa the way he is and doesn’t want any changes in his gender or personality.
73% of people who wants Santa the way he is said he doesn’t have to drink beer or have tattoos on his body to look cool. He is perfect just the way he has always been.

People also commented on Santa’s way of transportation. As now we are living the modern world so 57% of people insisted on changing the means of transportation of Santa with flying cars. Though other people Santa is fine with his hoverboard.
Other people were doubting that why this survey was done in the first place. The consideration of the possibility of changing Santa was not acceptable to people. While others showed their hostility on the fact why people were asked questions about changing the gender of Santa Claus.
