We all believe in some sort of superstition to ensure our good luck and safety. But, what if this superstition leads to the discomfort to other people? In an unexpected turn of events, a female passenger ended up halting her flight for several hours because she threw six coins in the plane’s engine. The reason: a ‘wish for a safe flight’.

The 66-year-old woman was later arrested at the Hohhot Baita International Airport in Inner Mongolia. According to official reports, she threw the coins into the plane’s engine just when she was about to board the flight. Later the coins were discovered from the tarmac near the place.

Tianjin Airlines actually got delayed for two hours due to her actions. The female passenger later was removed from the flight and could actually face further punishment now.
According to a Professor at the Civil Aviation University, ‘The engine could tremble, lose speed and even stop in mid-air if a coin were sucked into its core. That would put all the passengers on board at great risk.’
A crew member saw the woman tossing the six coins and eventually alerted authorities. The female passenger is identified as Yang and was later taken into custody. The airline staff eventually found all six coins.
This video that has been going around on social media for a while, shows how this female passenger did this “safe flight task. ”
The video clearly shows how her actions and this same video is taken as evidence. Though we totally understand and agree on people doing these small- small tricks to ensure their safety. But we should be actually ready for the consequences as well. And this act of this woman got her arrested.
Till your “being safe” attitude restricts to your own self and doing something that doesn’t affect anyone else. It is the best thing rather than being a problem for everyone!
