Isha Ambani, the 27-year-old daughter of India’s richest man got married to billionaire Anand Piramal. The two tied the knot on Wednesday at Mukesh Ambani’s 27-storey building in Mumbai. The pre-wedding ceremonies of the couple were celebrated in Udaipur which included the Maha Aarti Sangeet, Anna Seva, and the Beyonce concert. VIP guests including Hilary Clinton, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and many other Bollywood Royalties attended the wedding.
The celebrations continued with an elegant reception in Mumbai. Mukesh Ambani, the bride’s father was delighted and was in great pleasure while he posed for photographs with his wife Nita Ambani, his daughter and his son-in-law. Anand Piramal’s mother Swati Piramal and father Ajay Piramal were also the part of the ceremonies.
Hundreds of guests arrived at Ambani’s residence which was lavishly decorated with numerous fresh flowers and fairy lights.
The streets were adorned with floral arrangements. The residents turned out to watch the arrival of the guests.
Though there was a no phone policy at the wedding, few pictures were found on social media. The families of the couple approved to share some of the pictures on the internet. A lot of pictures from the pre-wedding ceremonies of the couple were shared on social media.
Arianna Huffington, former Huffington Post editor in Chief, Bob Dudley, CEO of the BP group, James Murdoch, the 21st Century Fox CEO and the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar were amongst the other important guests at the wedding.
Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal selected the perfect location in the city of lakes Udaipur for their pre-wedding celebrations. They took the five-star hotel Oberoi Udaivilas and the City palace for the night events.
