The usual romance scene with girls is considered by many as the beginning and the ending of all human relationships. It is taken for granted as the most and only vital relationship for survival. But a study printed in the Men and Masculinities reveals that a section of men finds more content via bromance.
Today, men get content out of bromance with other male friends than they get through romance with girls. Male intimate friendships have begun to become more acceptable socially, in the past few years.
And this conversion is a warning signal to dating or married couples because this will slowly lead to a weaker bonding. However, this may gradually diminish the prospect of romance with girls ever taking place.
Bromance concept is existing for years, take the case of George Washington, who wrote other men charming letters and on the other hand, Abraham Lincoln for many years shared a bed with his male friend.
The study reveals, during the middle of the 20th century, this bromance stuff of male friendship began to be labeled as ‘taboo.’ And it was all due to an escalation in homophobic ideas and transforming values or ethics on what masculinity stands for.

Normally communication in the social circle, gender plays a very pivotal role, where they are categorized, as to what is good for women and what is better for men. Debating and opposing, as to which is better, gives no content mentally, emotionally, and socially.
There are three pertinent points, as this study reveals, which is s3xual desirability, emotional attachment, and good character. Well, bromance people are content with the last two, but in romance, content comes when all three is involved.
Last, but not least, the study reveals, that a romance is usually temporary, but a bromance can last for a lifetime.
