The 35-year-old wrestler Nikki Bella who is quite a famous wrestler of her time is ready to retire from professional wrestling after devoting 12 years of her life to WWE. The news got announced by her sister Brie Bella on “Total Bellas”. Nikki Bella took this decision while being on her Europe Tour. She realized that she can not take the stress of traveling and all the injuries that happen during wrestling anymore because of her age.

During the season finale of Total Bellas, Brie Bella who is the sister of Nikki Bella announced the news that Nikki is finally ready to ‘Hang the jersey’ and is retiring soon from WWE. The news could be disheartening for her fans but people must realize that with her growing, it is getting really difficult for her to continue with her career of professional wrestling.
In an interview, when Nikki Bella was asked about her decision of retiring from WWE, she said, “I just feel like I’m too old for that travel. So I realized like, why am I doing this — I don’t feel good. I really am ready to hang up the jersey. Like, I can say it fully.”
Further, the wrestler continued by saying, “Being on the European tour, I’ve had a lot of time to think. Just how my body feels, being away from my company, how time-consuming this is. It’s making me realize I am ready to fold the jersey and put it away. I’m ready to put the kicks aside and I’m ready to take Nikki Bella into a different direction.”
Talking of the different direction, let us just mention here that the wrestler has made her relationship official with her new boyfriend who is her former ‘dancing with the stars’ partner. Although things are still very slow but they are expecting a stable and constant relationship out of it.
